Medact Board Members A list of the current Medact Board members.
A new board is elected annually each year at the Annual General Meeting and any member is welcome to stand. Please call the Medact office for further information.
Medact AGM & Conference 2011: Who Counts? Data, Inequality & Health Saturday 11th June 2011, 9:30 - 16:00

This year's conference covered a range of issues related to inequality and health. Speakers included Professor Alan Fenwick, Director of the Schistosomiasis Control Initiative and Professor of Tropical Parasitology at Imperial College; Richard Moyes, Policy Coordinator of the International Network on Explosive Weapons, and Dr Salam Ismael, Director of Doctors for Iraq. Thank you to all who attended.
Beating the Bomb DVD available Beating the Bomb is a documentary charting the history of the British peace movement against the backdrop of the atomic age, framing the nuclear weapons issue within the wider context of global justice. It was produced and directed by Meera Patel and Wolfgang Matt of MADD Movies: www.maddmovies.co.uk - click on the link below
Copies of the DVD are now available for a suggested donation of £5. As well as being of interest to individual members, we hope that groups will find it a useful tool for increasing awareness through local screenings.
